Site Planning Survey

A Site Planning Survey is a survey that includes a combination of a Boundary survey and a Topographic survey and is used for the preparation of a site plan and/or other documents which will depict proposed improvements to a parcel of land. As an example, this may be a new residential or commercial subdivision, a building addition, roadway design or any proposed design improvements requiring the position (boundary) and elevation (topo) of a particular parcel. As proposed design can vary greatly from project to project, details regarding various requirements should be discussed in detail with the Surveyor by the company or companies that will be relying on the survey.
